Self-Care While Grieving
Providing self-care may help you navigate your grief in ways that are healing and nurturing.

Anxiety and Sleep
If you experience anxiety, you may know how challenging it can be to get a good night's sleep. Having one night of disrupted sleep is common; however, when it continues to occur, you may start to feel anxious about being able to sleep the next night and so on. Anxiety alone is distressing and adding stress about sleeping into the mix may feel overwhelming.

Anxiety and Self-Compassion
This is where self-compassion helps while experiencing anxiety. Self- compassion provides a space to be with the anxiety instead of avoiding or resisting.

Other Losses & Grief Counseling

Most people are familiar with grief due to someone dying however there are other types of grief people experience. One type of grief is Disenfranchised grief which consists of losses that are stigmatized, considered insignificant, unrecognized relationships and non-death losses. Some symptoms of disenfranchised grief may include sadness, anger, depression, loneliness, shame, and anxiety.
